The quickest bus route to Bath is the 267 from Frome. Both First and Faresaver operate 267 buses; Faresaver 267 is quicker as it doesn’t call at Rode. It starts from Critchill Road. Another way to get to Bath is to take the 776 Hatch Green service from Shepton Mallet or from the Knatchbull in Stoke St.Michael. Get off at Midsomer Norton and transfer to one of the buses going to Bath (173, 178, 179, 184, 379).
It is also possible to go by 173 from Wells, Gurney Slade or Chilcompton, but this does take longer.
